March 15, 2018 A streamlined mAb platform process will be presented at the Bioprocessing Summit Europe 2018
Rentschler Biopharma will be represented at this year’s Bioprocessing Summit Europe taking place in Lisbon by Anja Trapp, Scientist Bioprocess Science. The conference brings together leading bioprocessing scientists to share day-to-day challenges and practical solutions for today's bioprocessing needs.
We kindly invite you to attend the lecture of Anja Trapp entitled “Streamlining mAb Platform Processes: Integrating Single-Use Adsorptive Filtration as a Unit Operation for Virus Clearance” on March, 22nd at 10 am.
Anja Trapp will present an innovative approach to utilize the full advantage of positively charged depth filters by addressing the removal of process-related impurities and viral contaminants. Results of extensive virus spiking studies demonstrate the capability of anion exchange (AEX) filtration as an adsorptive unit operation for virus removal. Charged single-use filters are an excellent alternative to AEX resins and adsorbers. Key advantages of the process include higher flow rates, reduced process time, disposability and lower buffer consumption while ensuring virus safety of two-column mAb processes. An additional prove of Rentschler Biopharma’s approach of constant process optimization and innovation capabilities!
