September 18, 2019 Rentschler Biopharma is finalist for "EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2019"
The auditing and consulting company EY has once again selected the best owner-managed companies in Germany and has now announced this year's finalists for the coveted entrepreneur award. Rentschler Biopharma SE is proud to be one of the 38 nominated companies.
The business award, now in its 23rd year, honors entrepreneurship, innovation and personal commitment. The award ceremony, which this year also coincides with the 100th anniversary of EY in Germany, will take place on 25 October as part of a gala at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart. The welcoming speech will be delivered by Winfried Kretschmann, Prime Minister of Baden-Wuerttemberg.
Awards will be given in five different categories: Industry, Consumer Goods/ Retail, Services/IT, Digital Transformation as well as Young Enterprises/Start-Ups. In addition, EY will honor an exemplary family business as well as an entrepreneurial personality for its extraordinary commitment to social issues.
Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Rentschler, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Dr. Frank Mathias, CEO, have been nominated in the Industry category for Rentschler Biopharma. Dr Mathias said: "Entrepreneurs are often given all the credit for successful companies, but our achievements are the result of many hands, many minds and many hours of work to deliver biomanufacturing excellence to our clients around the globe."
