Value chain due diligence

We have implemented processes for our value chain and our own business operations to systematically identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks related to human rights and the environment. Compliance with these processes is ensured by an internal human rights committee, which is coordinated by a human rights officer.

Core elements of our value chain due diligence

Supplier Code of Conduct

Our Supplier Code of Conduct defines clear expectations for our suppliers with regard to compliance with common environmental and social standards. It forms the basis for value-oriented and more sustainable cooperation along our value chain - in line with our corporate values.

Regular risk analyses

Each year, we conduct a thorough risk assessment of our direct suppliers using AI technology, which considers industry and country-specific risks alongside supplier specific data.

Sustainability assessments
for our suppliers

Both existing suppliers and potential new suppliers are continuously analyzed in terms of their sustainability performance using a comprehensive sustainability questionnaire.

Focus on regional
procurement structures

To support the local economy and minimize transport-related emissions, we prioritize sourcing services and, wherever feasible, materials from the surrounding region.

Our Goals

Supplier Code of Conduct sign-on rate

Goal: By 2027, 100% of our economically significant suppliers will have signed the SCoC.

Through our Supplier Code of Conduct, we require our suppliers to comply with fundamental environmental and social standards. By 2027, 100% of our economically significant suppliers are expected to have signed our Supplier Code of Conduct.
As of December 31, 2025, 65% of suppliers have signed the Code.

SBTi

Goal: By 2029, 82% of our suppliers (based on their spend-based emissions) should have set their own science-based targets

In accordance with our validated SBTi target, we aim for 82% of our suppliers (based on their spend-based emissions) to have their own science-based targets in place by 2029. As of December 31, 2025, we have provisionally achieved this goal.

Sustainability assessment of our suppliers

Goal: By 2027, 100% of our economically significant suppliers will have undergone a sustainability assessment.

Assessing our suppliers based on sustainability criteria is a key tool for us in ensuring a more sustainable value chain. As of December 31, 2025, 62% of our suppliers had already undergone such an assessment.
